Only a handful of schools shut after weekend of snow
A number of schools from across Kent and Medway have been forced to close their doors today as a result of the heavy snow this weekend.
However, the bulk remain open after roads were cleared on Sunday as no further snow fell.
As of 9.30am this morning, the schools closed in Medway were:
Bradfields - closed
Silverbank - closed
Featherby Infants - closed
Greenacres - open from 10am
Kingfisher Primary - open from 10.30am
Balfour Junior - closed
Chatham Girls - open from 10am
The Howard - open from 11am
Across Kent schools closed were:
Drapers Mills Primary School
White Cliffs Primary College for the Arts
Laleham Gap School
Astor College for the Arts
Canterbury Steiner School
Dover Grammar School for Boys
The Foreland School
The New School at West Heath
The Orchard School
Portal House School
Valence School
